In Loving Memory of Two New York female icons , Hayden Panettiere ( August 21st 1989 - August 16th 2026) & Michelle Trachtenberg (October 11th 1985 - February 26th 2025)💔🕊️

Hayden passed away recently (8/16/2026) at age 36, and Michelle Trachtenberg passed away last year (February 26th, 2025) at age 39—almost 18 months apart.
Both were from NY (Hayden from Rockland County NY, Michelle from Brooklyn). Hayden was best known for Heroes, Remember the Titans, A Bug’s Life and Scream 4 / Scream VI, while Michelle was known for Eurotrip, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Gossip Girl, 17 Again, and Harriet the Spy. They also co-starred together in Ice Princess.

Not NY related, but it’s crazy to hear this style of rap still exist over 30 years later. You can even hear it in NY drill, especially the female rappers…90s Memphis rap was way ahead of it’s time. R.I.P Princess Loko, she was 15 when she did this song. 🕊️💔

P.M. Dawn were a rap duo from Jersey City. They built the blueprint for modern melodic, introspective hip-hop. By prioritizing vulnerable themes over 90s gangsta rap, they paved the way for Kanye, Cudi, Drake, Juice WRLD, etc…they were criticized by rap purists for being “too soft”.

Not so fun fact: Bronx pioneer/rap legend KRS One actually put hands on them and kicked them off stage during a live performance in 1992.
