Built a state-aware digital notary journal, feedback welcome
Built a digital notary journal app because I kept hearing the same complaint from notaries in my area: the bound paper journal works, but there's no clean digital option that actually tracks what each state requires.
Notary Journal is state-aware. Pick your state and the entry form shows only the fields that state requires or allows, and hides the ones it forbids (a few states bar recording a full ID number, for example). Entries are sequential and append-only, so you can't edit or delete one, only void it with a reason, the same way you'd strike a line in a bound book. Everything stays on your phone. No account, no cloud, no login.
It's on iOS right now: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6786334880
Free to try, one-time unlock for unlimited entries and the full state ruleset. Not trying to replace your bound journal if your state requires paper, just want to know if this is useful for the states where an electronic journal is allowed, and where the gaps are. Happy to answer questions or take requests for a state that's missing something.
