Two polls about the removal and retention of ovaries were posted and voting was open for one week.
Ovary Removal Poll
This poll received 220 votes, 100 of which were the "I have not had surgery/show answer" selection. The 120 remaining votes resulted in the following:
- I had both ovaries removed and don't regret it (79 votes, 65.8%)
- I had both ovaries removed and regret it (1 vote, .8%)
- I kept one or both ovaries and don't regret it (35 votes, 29.2%)
- I kept one of both ovaries and regret it (5 votes, 4.2%)
Ovary Retention Poll
This poll received 308 votes, 219 of which were the "I had both removed/haven't had surgery/show answer selection." The 89 remaining votes resulted in the following:
- I kept both ovaries and don't regret it (68 votes, 76.4%)
- I kept both ovaries and regret it (4 votes, 4.5%)
- I kept one ovary and don't regret it (14 votes, 15.7%)
- I kept one ovary and regret it (3 votes, 3.4%)
