Word for "intelligence"

We use "IQ", but it's just a test, and tests can lie. I want something more true. I don't like "intelligence" because it's long. I also don't know the difference between "intelligence" and "intellect", even after searching. What shorter can we use instead?

What cheers you up?

I like drinking coffee, going on walks, and doing little unnecessary things that have progress (games, doodles, writing)

Understanding I'm less capable made life easier

I have dreams and work for them

I can only make bad work

I know if people see it, they will laugh at me

But I also want to achieve my dreams, even if badly

I often don't do any work because I know it will be bad, so I spend days doing nothing, expecting myself to do good work somehow

But doing bad work is better than doing none

When I remind myself I can't do work well, I feel free to do what I like

Getting hate for doing what I like is better than spending life for nothing

Struggling to do what I like is better than not getting anything done

Knowing my limits helps
