Starting to feel the heat of art gcse

oh god don't get me wrong I love the fact that I get to just listen to music and draw random. shite but it's lowkey hard to balance all my other stuff as an absolute try hard when it comes to school.

prep for a trip English literature exam Art deadline

  • Booklet + experiment + response Deputy Interview Summer heat Speaking and listening research

All of this in just one day oh god and the only one I've prepped for is my art stuff.

TRUST I'll manage to get it done somehow if I don't sleep late. I'll just do my remaining 49 squares on the right side and I can do the rest tmrw somehow.

Conclusion - Don't pick art GCSE if ur gonna be a lazy bum who procrasinates and is responsible for plethora of other things as well. Unless you do which good luck and kudos.

experiment piece help

ok so I'm just doing some prep for my exam and just trying to see which raised bamboo thing I want and I'm trying out different lil things I've labelled in in the photos and I'm just wondering - cus I'm gonna paint with some watercolour on top of it - what can I do so it works ig?

like for the paper mache I was planning on paining it with some white acrylic on top then watercolour but then idk if watercolour goes on top of acrylic and plus wouldn't the water from the water course damage the paper mache? idk. anyways I've searched it up and saw that applying gesso on it works then water course but I haven't seen anyone do it so I'm a bit nervous.

I have the same concern about the plaster of Paris cus I havent rlly properly worked with it before when dealing with watercolour so I'm still pretty worried ngl.

and yeah im not sure how to deal with the clay one as well. maybe gesso again?

NOTE : I HAVE NEVER WORKED WITH GESSO BUT I WILL BE BUYING SOME

I'm also gonna be doing some more flatter pieces and instead of the whole bamboo piece being 3d it's just gunna be the outline.

Guys what can i do as a critical study?

Does it only have to be artists or can it be something else like a genre or era or something.

Flora artist needed similar to these.

ok so i just need 1 more artist and they need some sort of flora aspect, ive took alot of flower and plant pics so i kinda feel like i need to use them. ive found these 2 but i'm not feeling either of them 100%.

seeing more of Stephen's works im very much more into his work.

My theme is habitat and im leaning towards an urbanisation type thing - my other artists are Kyle Henderson and Merve Ozaslan if that helps ig.
