Where is this in Geneva?

This was a photo I took in January while I was in Geneva, but I don't remember where this place was. Anybody has an idea? Thanks!

Dove posso comprare dei souvenir belli e di buona qualità di Torino?

Dopo alcuni anni passati a studiare a Torino, tra poco me ne andrò.

Avete qualche idea su dove potrei andare a cercare? Negozi, mercatini, librerie, botteghe, qualsiasi consiglio è benvenuto.

I recently got a job in Switzerland and I’m trying to find an apartment in Geneva. I’m not physically in Switzerland yet, so I’m doing the first part of the relocation process from abroad.

I came across an apartment sublease ad and I’ve been speaking with the current tenant. The thing is, with all the rental scams going around, I’m not fully sure whether this is legit or whether I’m missing something obvious. I also used to live in the UK, where rental scams are so perfected that it is easy to fall for them even if you are super cautious.

A few green flags:

- The ad had proper photos, and the person sent me a video walkthrough of the apartment. The video matches the photos, and the person seemed genuinely nice while showing the place.

- I googled the person and found an old YouTube interview with them. The voice/accent seems to match the voice/accent in the apartment video.

- The address was included in the ad. I checked it on Google Street View and compared it with what you can see from the apartment windows in the video, and that also seems to match.

The main red flag is that they want me to send the deposit plus the first month’s rent now, and then they would arrange for a friend to give me the keys, or for me to pick them up from that friend. The reason being that they won't be in Switzerland by the time I am supposed to move in.

So… what do you think? Does this sound normal for Geneva sublets, or is this a red flag? I’m trying not to be paranoid, but also don’t want to be stupid. Btw the sublease is only for a few months during the summer (my plan is to use that time to find myself a proper long-term apartment).

PS: I also checked the IBAN they gave me, and it seems to be a real Swiss IBAN issued by BCGE.
