ich fliege Anfang Juni für 2 Wochen auf die Azoren und würde dort gern 1–2 Tage angeln gehen – am liebsten mit Guide bzw. Guiding-Tour. Hab nicht vor Ausrüstung mitzunehmen.
Koffer und Co sind eh schon zu voll mit dem ganzen Familienkrams. 😃

Quality / Construction:
The overall craftsmanship is good. Stitching and finishing are clean, and the shoes feel solid in hand. Nothing immediately stands out as cheap. Maybe the "Birkenstock" can be a little bit accurat!
Material:
The material is only noticeable as different from retail when looking very closely. For everyday wear, it’s not something most people would ever spot.
Color:
The sage (green/grey) colorway is an actual retail/original color, which is a nice bonus since a lot of reps get the shades wrong.
Sole:
The sole is slightly darker compared to the original, but it’s a minor flaw and not very noticeable unless you directly compare them side by side.
Comfort:
Very comfortable to wear, even for longer periods. Definitely one of the better aspects of the pair.
Overall, one of the better pickups I’ve had recently and easy to recommend considering the price.

I ordered the hyped Loro Piana bomber jacket from Loro Piana through Astride and wanted to leave my honest opinion, because this jacket gets recommended here nonstop.
Fit:
The fit is actually pretty good. It has a modern and comfortable silhouette. However, I’d definitely recommend sizing up compared to the size chart, since everything runs a bit smaller than expected.
Material:
At first touch, the material feels nice and soft. However, I’m pretty sure there’s no real cashmere used here. To me, it feels more like a regular wool blend rather than genuine high-end cashmere.
Craftsmanship:
Overall, I’d give it a maximum of 5/10.
The stitching is surprisingly decent, but a lot of other details seriously drag the quality down. The labels in particular are poorly finished and look cheap. The biggest issue, though, is definitely the zipper — it feels low quality, doesn’t run smoothly, and just feels cheap overall. For a jacket in this price range, that really shouldn’t happen.
Color:
The color is completely off. Instead of the expected tone, it looks more like a mix of green, beige, and grey. The metamerism is honestly terrible — in photos it looks somewhat accurate, but in real daylight it has a green/beige tint, while in evening lighting it turns grey. I’d rate the color accuracy a 2/10.
Honestly, I don’t fully understand why this jacket is so overhyped. Maybe my expectations were too high, or maybe many people simply haven’t handled a truly high-quality jacket before.
