What’s my best next step

Hello guys,

I’m looking for genuine advice. My journey to my career has been one that has been ROUGH. For some context, first get student, wanted to go to med school, did biomedical sci undergrad, got a 4.0. Got burnt out and realized I didn’t want to go through the lifestyle of med school or what it takes to be a doctor. Took a few gap years lost, applied for teacher college, nuc med, perfusionist, ultrasound. Went to nuc med, realized it is NOT for me and dropped out. I always was interested in PA school but idk the whole thing about the healthcare hours would steer me away. I have about 200 hours volunteering with SickKids and Holland Bloorview. But I realized, PA is the most suited career for me, my interests and what sort of work life balance I am seeking. This whole journey was rough on my mental health, a whole thing with depression and anxiety and I’m finally in the headspace to try again. I tend to have a hard time finding the next step. I am a Canadian and US citizen. I know doing PA school in Canada means I cannot practice in the US whereas if I do PA in USA, I can work in Canada. I recognize I have to build my experience now. How do I start? Should I do a quick program? What are good healthcare hours? I have no connections and I been having a hard time getting my foot in the door with entry healthcare positions. I cannot do anything with too much body touching (so PSW out of the question). Thank You!

Calorie deficit feels hard

26F, 5’2/5’3 ish. Hard to get a consistent weight but around 56-58 kg. 23.5% body fat. I want to lose weight and gain muscle to make my face leaner specifically.

I was on a cut for a few months, 1300/1400 but it’s so hard now in the summer with my social life. I know when you build muscle, your maintenance goes up, I def have gained muscles, can see that with my biceps but how do I know what my maintenance is now? Or am I getting this wrong?
