Advice on how to design this pcb?

Im new to my universities rocket design team and im a second year EE working on the controls team. They're looking for an antenna that will track a rocket based on received telemetry data. It will need a custom pcb and a hefty stepper motor.

Ive designed simple pcbs but nothing to this extent. I need some advice on where to begin.

failed my first class

I need some feedback or just someone who can relate to help me calm down. Im a first year EE and was in computer engineering until I switched mid spring semester. Here's my end of semester grades:

Physics 2: A-

Differential equations: B

Circuits 1: B-

Circuits 1 lab: A

Discrete math: D+

I was in discrete math as a requirement for computer engineering, and the professor was god awful. Basically the whole class failed this semester even with a very generous curve. He was an awful grader and would consistently take points off on questions with no marks or feedback on any exams. The final was 12 pages and 325 points and I got a 20% even after studying 20+ hours (after talking with classmates this seems to be common) and I cant believe I didnt pass the class. I studied a lot and attended office hours weekly but ended with a 68%, I emailed him and he said there was nothing he could do.

I am worried about my gpa and my future as an engineer, ive never gotten a D or even a C in a class and I dont know if I should retake the course even if its not required for my major anymore or just take the D and move on.

Does anyone have any advice thats been in this situation before?
