Vertical Mode for Gameplay
I have a suggestion for Avakin Life! 💗
Would it be possible to add an option for players to rotate the screen between horizontal and vertical mode?
Since Avakin is mainly played horizontally, it can sometimes be quite difficult to type, especially when chatting with friends. On a phone, the horizontal keyboard takes up a lot of the screen and can feel uncomfortable to use for longer conversations.
Having a vertical/portrait mode would make typing and chatting much easier and more natural, since phones are normally designed to be used vertically for texting.
It would be even better if players could toggle between the two orientations whenever they want, rather than having to choose only one:
📱 Vertical mode → easier for typing, chatting, messaging and navigating menus
🎮 Horizontal mode → better for gameplay, exploring and viewing your surroundings
This wouldn’t need to replace the current horizontal layout, it could simply be an additional option that players can switch between depending on what they’re doing.
I think this would make Avakin much more comfortable to use on mobile, especially for players who spend a lot of time chatting.
