Are these specs enough for Sims 4 with ALL DLCs + a huge mod/CC library + reshades?
Hi all,
I'm looking at buying this laptop and want to know if it can realistically handle Sims 4 with every expansion/DLC installed, plus a large mod and CC collection (I mean a lot…hundreds to thousands of items), and I also like to use reshades/graphics overhauls like GShade on top of that.
Wondering if this hardware can keep up without constant stuttering or insane load times.
Specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 H255; 8 cores / 16 threads, up to 4.9 GHz boost
- GPU: AMD Radeon 780M (integrated, RDNA3, 12 CUs @ 2600MHz); no dedicated graphics card
- RAM: 24GB (onboard LPDDR5)
- Storage: 512GB SSD (M.2 2280 NVMe)
- Display: 16" FHD IPS, 180° hinge
- Battery: 54.72Wh, rated 6+ hours
- OS: Windows 11 Pro
- Connectivity: WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2
It's an ACEMAGIC laptop. The 780M is apparently one of the stronger integrated GPUs out there right now, but I'm worried about how it'll cope with a massive CC/mod folder + GShade running at the same time, especially in CAS/Build Mode. Anyone running something similar?
Also curious about the 512GB SSD filling up fast with a big CC library… worth getting external storage from day one?
Thanks!
