Question for the Dutch

First off: what an amazing festival, I hope you’re all having as good of a time as me. I’m British and this is my first time at DTRH or indeed any Netherlands festival. We have noticed a mad amount of coordinated dancing recently, starting with line dancing on the Thursday (the Candy dance) and then especially at Beirut where everyone seemed to know these dance routines. What is going on? Who is leading this? It’s fascinating! Thank you :)

Is it really stupid to bring a suitcase?

Hi guys, sorry if this is ridiculous but I’ve never been to DTRH before and wondered if it would be insane to bring a suitcase. I don’t normally do this for festivals but am travelling from England for the festival so would loooove to roll something instead of carry it. What I’m essentially asking is, how long of a walk is it from the train station to the entrance and campsite (glamping! We splashed out, first time ever) and is the terrain going to ruin the wheels? Please don’t be mean! Thanks!!!

Money money money

Hi gang - going to DTRH for the first time this year, very excited! I’m trying to be a bit more careful with money and wondered if anyone has any tips and tricks for the festival. Is the food cheap / any good, or should I try and bring stuff? I saw you can pre-order drinks and BBQ food, which seems like a good idea instead of lugging everything there. Do lots of people do this? We’re a big group so will probably band together and order a bunch. And how intense are the alcohol security checks on entry? Any other advice is very welcome!

Best locations for tinnies on the Thames

Do people still do tinnies by the Thames in summer? Seeing a friend on Thursday and want to save money, so thought we could do that but can't think of where would be best to do it. I'll be coming from around the Strand so ideally near there, but please feel free to drop other good Thames tinny locations. Thanks!

anyone really sick?

Has anyone picked up a nasty virus from Prima? Can’t work out if it’s from the rain, dehydration or exposure to so many people but I have been nauseous, dizzy and unable to get out of bed for 2 days. Definitely not just a hangover
