Ebook to PDF?

I’m currently working on my capstone essay. My topic is family dynamics, and the book im reading is The Family Dynamic by Susan Dominus. I bought a copy of the book online that I can only look at through an app (Everand). I’m trying to word search on my Mac to make it easier for me to find the evidence that i’m looking for but the app won’t let me use Command+F to find key words or copy and paste any quotes from the book. This is making it extremely difficult for me to find any helpful evidence or transfer quotes anywhere. Is there any way to turn an e-book, specifically one from Everand, into a copyable PDF? Or, does anyone have any actual downloadable PDF copies of the book? Please help!!!

Main breaker keeps tripping and entire house loses power — how dangerous is this?

Looking for help from people who know more about electrical issues than I do.

For over a year, our house has had this problem where our entire power goes out if too many things are running at the same time. The main breaker fully trips and turns EVERYTHING off. Resetting it always takes multiple attempts and it never turns on after the first flip. And sometimes we have to wait a while before the power is actually able to come back on.

At this point we’ve had to avoid using certain things together entirely. For example, the microwave and oven at the same time, the washer and oven at the same time, the vacuum and stove, basically any appliances running together is forbid.

Some rooms in our home are even shut off on the breaker because otherwise the issue happens way more often. Some rooms don’t even get to turn the AC on or things power off.

Money has been tight for my mom, so it just keeps getting pushed off. But it’s so worrying and I assume this is extremely dangerous and likely a fire hazard. I don’t know what the problem is as a whole, so if anyone can tell me what’s going on and how much it would cost to be fixed?

I wish I had the money to help her out with it, but I’m 18 , unemployed, dealing with school, and prepping for college. I feel so bad that she has to deal with stuff like this on her own, as neither her boyfriend or almost 30 year old son (who also live in her house) have jobs.

This sounds like a serious fire hazard, right? And for anyone who’s dealt with something similar or has the knowledge, what’s the problem and what kind of repair cost are we realistically talking about?

please help!!!!
