Genuine question , I struggle with body hair everywhere since I hit puberty . And when I say everywhere I mean thighs, butt cheeks, boobs chest it’s like an even spread throughout my whole body but it is dark not thick like terminal hair that you would see on a beard but it is noticeable and damaging my self esteem. Is this hirsutism … or is hirsutism THICK dark patches on specific areas.
Also I’m not sure whether to post photos in a bit scared just want some advice

I’ve just been to my gp because I have excessive body hair everywhere, I have dermatitis and struggle with sweating . I wanted to get tested for pcos and hormone imbalance. My testosterone level was BORDERLINE normal so slightly on the high side but in normal range. She was sure that I had nothing to worry about and this it doesn’t look bad but it IS. And she said because I have regular periods it cannot be PcOs and therefore doesn’t see the need to have a scan of my ovaries. Feeling so depressed and stuck is that it?

I’m about to have an appointment at my GP and I already know that they will ask about birth control because that’s the only thing they can do for any woman who has a hormonal issue !! Does anyone actually think that it has improved their excessive body hair? Or do the other side effects of birth control just make it even worse.
