Considering this my Broadway debut.

Considering this my Broadway debut.

As part of the celebration of 100 performances of Cats: The Jellicle Ball on Broadway, fans were asked to submit photos from their nights at the show and my photo with Sydney was part of the chosen few. Was so cool to see it up there. Anybody else make up it on the marquee? I didn’t get back to the theater at night due to the massive thunderstorm, so I was wondering if anybody had photos of it at night.

Congrats to the cast and crew on 100 shows!

“Death Becomes Her” final stage door.

Was lucky enough to get to front barricade to see the cast and crew off at the final stage door. Megan signed my vinyl back in October of 2025 so I was hoping to ask the cast recording stars to add to it, and Taurean and Josh were happy to add their signatures. I was blown away seeing Michelle come out and my hands were full when she came down the line with her signed cards, I was gutted not to get one :( Darryl was very nice to all of us at the front and handed me Betsy’s when she came out.

Sad to see the show end. If anyone happened to receive one from Michelle and is willing to part with it, I’d be eternally grateful to add it to my collection. 💜

Happy trails to the iconic show, cast and crew.

Mariska Hargitay is EVERYTHING.

An absolute tour-de-force on that stage. Thrilled I got to see her tonight. Jalen Brunson in the audience to boot! The stagedoor was absolute madness (and unfortunately she didn’t come out - with good reason!) - but WOW.

What a night.

Bowen Yang & Matt Rogers were Guest Judges at the Jellicle Ball tonight.

Lucky me with a lottery win tonight and seats 4 rows behind the special guest judges of the night! They couldn’t have been sweeter and seemed to have such a good time with the crowd and everyone on stage!

Understudies.org - just a little late (Jack Falahee/Death of a Salesman) tonight.

Have been trying to catch Jack on as his standby role, and got an email tonight at 9pm for TONIGHT’s performance that he was on. Anybody know if he went on mid-show, or are they just really late with email updates? Sad to miss him but I hope to catch him eventually.

“New Born” at Minetta - Review and horrendous audience experience

I won the lottery for today’s matinee of this performance and what a ride it was. Three beautifully performed monologues, and almost ruined three separate times by inconsiderate audience members with phones that weren’t turned off/continued to let ring during important monologues and even disrupting Hugh’s final moments so long with an alarm that caused him to ask for a line.

During a moment of Sepideh’s performance, she sits on the front of the stage. A phone goes off, and continues. She broke character and said to the audience member… “Please, get it.” - to a rumbling of groans and light chuckles from the audience - where it wasn’t any laughing matter.

Hugh was interrupted by an ALARM that went on for a solid two minutes, causing him to break and say “modern life, eh?… it’s fine it’s fine we’re here.” and then asked for a line.

One member behind me had her head in a hoodie, under a blanket looking at her phone. It was so distracting and down right rude.

I got to see them after the show and thanked them for powering through such horrid behavior and Sepideh thanked me for being kind (I loaned her my marker so she could sign for people!) and even DM’d / reposted my IG story about the phones.

1 hour and 50 minutes, no intermission, and nobody can silence their shit? It was INSANE. So disrespectful to the material on stage and performers. It took a lot out of the experience and am noticing it’s all over the place lately. The audience was full of much older folks, but that’s not any excuse.

“Giant” - WOW.

This is the first show I’ve gone into completely blind and holy sh*t - what a tour de force. I was left chilled to the bone by everyone on that stage, especially John Lithgow and Aya Cash. Unbelievable performances and a gut wrenching, thought provoking, uncomfortable show that leaves you thinking about so much after you leave the theater. Was lucky enough to meet the entire cast at the stage door, and was handed one of John’s signed Playbills after he left. Security handed the first 10 to the ladies at the door (true gents) and the remaining two were specially given to me and a fellow theater goer waiting as they spotted us patiently seeing what they could do. This show is not to be missed. Unreal.

Luckily I live around the corner, so when they announced the event last night and the “first 30 people” would get free tickets to the show, I had to be there. Was 18th in line at 10:15, which was surprising! I figured there would be more of a draw as there was cross-posting everywhere! My friend was #29 and right after her, they extended it to 40 people. Everybody got free sandwiches fror Fiore’s and signed up for free ticket vouchers! Fun little morning. Can’t wait to see the show again!
