Anybody been up Rock Creek in the South Hills lately? How's it flowing?

Looking at getting up camping and would really like to have water, but it was veeeeery dry and warm last time I was up there this past spring. Summer doesn't seem it's brought much precip and there was hardly any snow last I went.

How much water is moving in the creek this time of year down by like Steer Basin and Third Fork campgrounds? Much at all? Don't know what to expect but would be nice to have a heads-up from anybody who's been up there lately, like within the last couple weeks.

Thanks for any insight you can give.

Talk me out of / into cutting internal dropper routing hole on a Dummy?

The external dropper is like a full inch too short to be totally useful. The travel range is either down enough to flat-foot at a stop while missing top end enough to be comfortable pedaling, or high enough for comfort pedaling but too tall then to be able to stand comfortably and balance the bike with a wiggly kid + load while waiting at a light or whatnot. Meeting both ends more or less was the reason to put a dropper on the bike (and to make it easy to swap rider heights between wife and myself).

Have a 27.2mm internal post that is both nicer than this one, and comes with that crucial extra 25mm of travel. Would need cable routing hole somewhere.

Anybody done it? Anybody suggest a safer location for it? Anybody suggest strong reasons not to do it at all?

And anybody got a pic of their own purple Dummy (most recent model) with the factory-cut one so I might template that spot? And anybody know if the purple Dummy has bracing inside the tubing where the hole is?

Father's Day park roll

We were on our way to the dirt pump track to catch a few "big jumps" but little guy pointed and said "I want to go to that" at a park we passed. Place to ourselves, golden hour, bottle of limeade... just a perfect end to the day. Cheers to everybody else who got a chance to ride with their kid(s) today!

After sitting parked for almost exactly a year in the lead-up to and time following a very disruptive move last summer, finally got to finishing the wheel build that got this rolling again. Second ride out, hit the creek trail and the pump track with the little guy. What a delight.
