Honest Opinion on Merrick Garland's tenure as US States Attorney?

My personal opinion is that he was by far the worst member of the entire Biden administration. He was negligent in his duties to hold Trump and his co-conspirators accountable for their actions which in turn laid the groundwork for Trump to reclaim the presidency.

Of course I don't place the blame squarely on him as he is a judge by trait and judges tend to air on the side of impartiality. So his appointment played out as expected.

What are your opinions on his tenure?

Would you vote in the republican primary if you lived in a deep red district?

Let's say for example you lived in Kentucky 4 a deep red district in a deep red state where voting for a democrat is not a viable path.

Would you registered as a republican in order to participate in the primary and would you encourage others to do so as well?

Not including the Democratic Party which political party from around the world most closely aligns with your political views?

For those of you who are familiar with global politics which political party would you say most closely aligns with your views excluding the democratic party.

Some examples would be The Liberal Party of Canada, NDP in Canada, PRI in Mexico, MORENA in Mexico, Labour in the UK, Green Party in the UK, En Marche in France, etc.

Now that Eric Swalwell has been rightfully expelled from the democratic primary the risk for having 2 republicans make it to the general have been greatly diminished.

So ignoring that possibility who would you vote for?

The most liberal state in the country Vermont has a Republican governor that's very well liked by their population.

Is there a republican politician that you've personally backed in the past for similar reasons?

I'm talking about media figures as oppose to actual republican voters.

Figures like Megyn Kelly, Meghan McCain, Liz Cheney, Lindsey Graham, JD Vance, George Bush Sr. Amongst others at one point or another in their careers have been pushed to the forefront of liberal discussion as a way to make a point that there are Republicans who will never support Trump.

If you go beyond their own personal grievances with Trump however, you find that these Never Trump figures agree with Trump on pretty much every issue. And a great deal of them have long since gone back to Trump for one reason or another.

I would also like to add that I am aware that these is not a situation unique to liberals as figures like Tulsi Gabbard, RFK Jr. Dave Rubin, Joe Rogan, also exists that made similar pivots towards courting a right wing audience.

The difference between the two is that right wing grifters completely take the policy positions of the right while Never Trump Republicans for the most part keep their right wing positions and are cheered by liberals for simply not liking Trump.

So what I want to know is why these figures are so prominent in liberal media and discussions in the first place ? And how you personally feel about these types in general.

I find that a lot of liberal discourse is centered around how bad the republican party. Not saying that that's a good or a bad thing and I don't want this post to turn into an argument about that.

Long are the days when Lyndon B. Johnson's great society was front and center in the democratic party. So in this thought experiment I want to ask democratic voters what a democrat utopia looks like.

Let's say its 2028 Democrats control 100 seats in the senate, 50 Governorships, 435 seats in the house, 9 seats in the supreme court and the presidency and vice presidency. What changes are made to the country?
