TRYING GET GUN LICENSE BACK NEED HELP/ RECOMMENDATION
So last year on 2/28/26 i was arrested at a traffics stop, i have marijuana and a firearm on me at the time, i also was license to carry. So with that being said i was charged for small drug possession and paraphernalia. They two charges was withdrawn and added as a disorderly conduct summry offense. So today 6/26/26 I went to the sheriff office today to get my license, they said because i pleaded down to a summry offense that means that i admitted use of being a marijuana. and that my application with not go through. I then ask if i will be receiving a letter on why, she verbally told me “ no you will not receive a letter because this is being treated a revocation application “ but it’s been past 30 days for me to appeal and she didn’t denied my first she just verbally told me “ no “ I have no criminal conviction
Please tell me what i should do?
is the sheriff wrong?
