With recent rule changes, Milan Futuro's chances of being promoted to Serie C seem very unlikely. Even if they had won in the Serie D Playoffs, it would not have mattered, as winning Serie D playoffs does not lead to automatic promotion, but rather creates a priority list of teams for possible promotion.

Teams are admitted/readmitted to Serie C in order of the following priorities:

• a new Serie A Second Team

• Lega Pro (Serie C)

• Serie D

• any Serie A Second Team participating in the Serie D championship

Barring a miracle, Milan Futuro will be playing in Serie D once again next season.

It is unclear what pathway there will ever be for Milan Futuro to be promoted under these new rules (Italy's commitment to youth is overwhelming at times.)

Among Under-21 players in the top 50 world leagues who have played at least 720 minutes, Kostic is third in goal participation (goals-to-assists-per-90-minute ratio) with 0.92

Ahead of him in this special ranking are only Matviy Ponomarenko of Dynamo Kyiv (1.07) and Barcelona phenomenon Lamine Yamal (1.01)
