I got admission in IIT Ropar and I want to know when and if I can come visit the campus before the reporting date (27 july).
Additionally, I want to know what documents I need to bring with me at reporting. I am of OBC category. I also want the helpline numbers available as none of the numbers I found online were being picked up.
Hey, just got my TCS Ninja offer (ASE-Trainee, 3.46 LPA). Three things I'm confused about:
1. Bond, 1 year or 2 years?
The offer says the bond is 1 year from the date of joining. But ILP is also 12 months, starting from the same joining date. So does the bond run alongside ILP, or does it start after ILP ends and full-time employment begins? Because if it's the latter, that's basically a 2-year commitment total. This is not clearly stated in the offer letter and is my main concern.
2. Actual in-hand salary?
Gross is ₹27,825/month, but after PF and tax cuts, what's the realistic take-home? Anyone from a recent batch who can share actual numbers would be really helpful.
3. What does "Assistant System Engineer-Trainee Grade Y" actually mean?
What technology will I be working with, and what kind of work or training can I expect during and after ILP? Is the technology stack assigned randomly or based on preference?
