I have a Leatherman Surge that I use whenever I have to work on something for a long time, but I find it a bit heavy, and I want something lighter that also lets me play with it while I work at my desk (like a fidget toy). I was looking around and thought the Free P4—or even the P2—looked really interesting; they’re practical for one-handed use. But I see that Leatherman discontinued them years ago, and the only similar thing they sell now is the ARC, which is super expensive and also out of stock everywhere.

Why would they discontinue it? For a moment, I thought they might eventually bring it back or release an ARC Lite version.
