Conceptual Design exercise: iPhone 18 Nova Collection – Bridging Organic Patina and Precision Bronze

Hello r/Apple, I am a digital artist and I wanted to push the concept of Apple's premium line. Instead of just making it darker or glossy, I envisioned a collection focusing on rare materials and traditional craftsmanship.

Introducing the iPhone 18 Nova. My vision is a device with a Burnished Meteorite Bronze-Gold frame that feels incredibly dense and artisanal. The back panel is a fusion of rare bronze alloy that naturally develops a deep, iridescent teal-green patina. Every device would be unique.

My favorite detail is the 'Artisan Bubble Camera' module. It uses sculpted bronze to blend the lenses seamlessly into the body, giving it a soft, organic look rather than the typical harsh glass rings.

I also imagined the A18 Ultra chip, because this phone should deliver power that goes beyond.

I'm sharing this as a design exercise because I believe risk-taking in design is how we find new aesthetics. I am ready to lose all my karma if people hate the patina, but I think it’s a stunning contrast.

I’d love to hear your thoughts. What materials would you want to see Apple use on a true luxury device?
