Low volume mask vs high volume mask
Hi, i am currently using cressi calibro low volume mask with 88 cm3 of mesured volume. I am diving up to 20m and with this mask im not needed to equalise mask at all. The thing i dont like is field of vision in up direction. I really hate when im lying on the bottom and i have to raise my head to much for my likings to see in front and maybe slightly above the bottom surface.
Recently in shop i tried c4 skyline which is framless, single lens mask, but with medium volume intended for snorkeling and shallow water spearfishing as manufacturer says on their website, probably around of 150+ cm3 of internal volume, but i really like field of view, and especially up view is incomparable with vision on my cressi callibro.
The question is, for more experience divers with this, will this higher volume mask will be significantly different/harder for dives up to 20m. What can i expect if i go dive to 20m with higher volume mask, how much mask equalisation will be needed. I dont wont to spend 60€ just to find out this c4 skyline is not for 20m dives.
Thank you!
