Hi all,

Short version — what are your favorite dance shoes?

For context, I’m a follow. I switched to swayd sandals this year after my dance coach pointed out that my former fuegos weren’t flexible enough (don’t judge, I started out in a different dance style where they made sense lol).

Anyway, I loved the swayds and my dance improved with them, but I haven’t even had them a year and I think the sole losing its slide played a role in a recent injury. My foot stuck on a spot of stickier than usual floor, and my knee’s been super messed from it.

It’ll be a while yet before my knee is cleared for dance, but I’d love advice on what shoes to try switching to when I come back that might help avoid issues like that. Thanks!
