Modded Skyrim + Nvidia = single digit FPS
Are there any performance impact from latest Nvidia drivers on Linux in terms of modded Skyrim?
Recently tried to run Nordic Souls PBR, that utilises Community Shaders with all the bells and whistles like Upscaling and Frame Generation, but was greeted with 5FPS on launch on Bazzite. Reproduced same issue on fresh install of CachyOS, and tried on Windows too where I got stable 55-60 frames on my 5070Ti at 4K with DLSS set to Performance.
From what I noticed in comparisons, is VRAM usage, under Linux VRAM was maxed out, while on Windows it was only 50-60% of usage.
Would love to know more if anyone faced something similar.
P.S.
Issue is not specific to modlist, which was installed by using Jackify, and several other lists also was tested that too had massive performance hit on Linux.
