Hi everyone,

I’m still receiving quite a few inquiries about the NorLight, so I’d like to check how many of you are still interested in the NorLight III.

I’m currently consolidating the number of requests and considering opening another small batch of pre-orders, provided there is sufficient interest to meet the minimum order quantity.

Please note that due to the recent increase in the cost of Miyota movements, the price for this new batch will be slightly higher than the previous pre-order.

If everything goes smoothly, the estimated delivery time will be around 2-2.5 months from the opening of the pre-order, which means delivery is expected before Christmas.

For customers in the USA, shipping will be DDP, with no additional duty or tariff charges upon delivery.

As these watches will be specially produced based on the confirmed orders, all orders will be non-cancellable and non-refundable. I hope everyone understands that this will be a special production run specifically for those who missed the earlier pre-order.

Heritage 38 Chronograph — Production & Shipping Update

I’m pleased to share another update with you.
I’ve received confirmation from my supplier that all remaining parts for the Heritage 38 Chronograph are expected to arrive by the end of this week. Once all components have been received, assembly is scheduled to begin this weekend.

I’ll also be flying to visit my supplier to personally conduct the QC inspection of the completed watches. If the inspection goes smoothly and there are no unexpected issues, we currently estimate that shipping to Backers will begin from 31st August, in batches.

The Heritage 38 shipping process is expected to take approximately two weeks, with the current estimated shipping period being:
31st August – 15th September

We’ll do our very best to process and ship all orders as quickly as possible while maintaining our quality standards.

NorLight III (Tri-Lume) — Production & Shipping Update
For the NorLight III (Tri-Lume), QC inspection will begin after the Heritage 38 QC inspection has been completed.

Our current estimated shipping schedule for the NorLight III is:
Shipping begins: 7th September
Estimated shipping period: 7th – 25th September

This means that the NorLight III shipment will overlap with the later stage of the Heritage 38 shipping process. As with the Heritage 38, orders will be shipped in batches.

Please note that these are estimated shipping dates, as the final schedule is dependent on the QC results. We will keep you updated should there be any changes.

I’ll be posting another update very soon with more details about the shipping procedures, including when and how everyone can expect to receive their packages.

I’d like to share the latest update on our Heritage 38 Chronograph project.

Unfortunately, several of our manufacturing partners have encountered production delays, which have impacted our original schedule. Based on the latest progress, we now expect to begin shipping the Heritage 38 Chronograph by the end of August 2026 by batches.

I sincerely apologize for this delay and understand that many of you have been eagerly waiting for your Heritage 38 Chronograph. Please rest assured that I am working closely with each of our manufacturing partners to keep production moving while ensuring that no compromises are made on quality. Our goal remains to begin shipping all orders by the end of August 2026.

As a microbrand, we rely on a number of specialist manufacturers, each responsible for different components of the watch. While occasional production delays are unfortunately beyond our control, I believe it is far more important to deliver a watch that meets the quality standards you expect from MMI Watches than to rush production and risk compromising the final product.
I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support throughout this journey. Your trust means a great deal to me, and I remain fully committed to delivering a Heritage 38 Chronograph that is worth the wait.

NOR-LIGHT III Pre-Order Update

In less than a week, we’ve sold more than half of our NOR-LIGHT III allocation. If you haven’t placed your order yet, we encourage you to secure yours while stocks last.

There is a possibility that this could be the final NOR-LIGHT release. At this stage, we’re unable to confirm if or when another production run will take place.

As we move closer to the estimated delivery date, the pre-order price will increase on 1 August 2026.

NOR-LIGHT Steel Bracelet Update

Many of you have asked whether a steel bracelet will be available.

Unfortunately, our bracelet and clasp manufacturer requires a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of 500 sets. For this release, we’ve only produced 300 watch cases and leather straps, making it difficult to meet their MOQ.

I’m currently in discussions with the manufacturer to see if they’re willing to supply just 100–150 steel bracelets. At the same time, I’m also exploring alternative
bracelet manufacturers.

If we’re able to proceed with a steel bracelet option, I’ll announce it through our newsletter as soon as I receive confirmation.

Studio Archive & Prototype Collection (2nd Batch)

Over the years of developing watches at MMI Watches Singapore, numerous prototypes and early production pieces were created throughout our design and testing journey. Some of these watches were also used for photography, product displays, and reviews by watch YouTubers and media publications.

As our archive continues to grow, we are releasing a limited selection of these pieces to collectors.

This special collection offers a rare opportunity to own watches that were part of MMI’s design and development process.

Each watch is fully functional, though some may display minor signs of handling or wear. Quantities are extremely limited, with most pieces being one-off examples.

For this release, we will be offering 7 prototype pieces that have been carefully refurbished by our local watchmaker. Most scratches and scuff marks have been professionally removed, while cases and bracelets have been polished to the best possible condition.

Types of Watches Available

This collection consists of four categories:

Prototype – Unrefurbished
Early development pieces used during the design process. These watches remain in their original condition and may show cosmetic marks from handling, testing, photography, or reviews.

Prototype – Refurbished
Development pieces that have undergone light cosmetic refurbishment, such as polishing or cleaning, while retaining their original prototype configuration.

Production – Unrefurbished
Regular production models previously used for photography, display, or YouTube reviews. Minor cosmetic marks from handling may be present.

Production – Refurbished
Production pieces that have received light cosmetic refurbishment to improve overall appearance while remaining mechanically original.

Condition & Pricing

Prices are determined based on the rarity, condition, and historical significance of each piece.

Nearly New Watch Terms

Item History
These watches were previously used for promotional activities, including photography, product displays, reviews, and prototyping. While they have been handled, all pieces remain in full working condition unless otherwise stated.

Physical Condition
Minor cosmetic imperfections or manufacturing irregularities may be present. These may include surface scratches, small dents, or slight alignment variations on the dial or indices.

Limited Warranty
Warranty coverage applies only to the internal movement and its timekeeping functionality. Cosmetic components and exterior wear are excluded.

No Returns
All purchases are final. No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted.

All watches are sold as-is.

Each listing will include detailed descriptions and clear photographs showing the exact condition of the watch.

For Collectors

Many of these watches are unique development pieces that will never enter production again. They represent an important part of MMI’s design journey and are intended for collectors who appreciate the story and history behind each watch.

Once sold, these pieces will not be reproduced or restocked.

Heritage 38 Chronograph Owners & Backers,

Some of our regular customers and Kickstarter backers may be surprised to see a “Heritage 38 Chronograph Production Phase” update while the campaign is still ongoing, as this type of update is normally shared only after a campaign has ended.
