I’m neither a fan nor a hater, but I will never get over the glaring double standard in Demitra's behavior. When Noah fell off a moving car she was driving, she almost started crying—repeatedly apologizing and panicking even though he was completely fine and kept telling her so. Yet, when her own sister literally split her lip in half and had to go to the hospital, suddenly it was all shits and giggles. There was zero sense of urgency regarding her sister, but the moment it's Noah, she suddenly cares. And don’t even try to argue that she might have been crying off-camera. If she had been, she absolutely would have included it in the final edit, given how obsessed she is with being perceived by her audience as this sweet, motherly girl. This situation perfectly highlights the group's male-centered dynamic. It’s not just that she only cried for Noah; it’s that this double standard exposes how calculated they are behind the scenes. They selectively curate their footage to feed an image that their parasocial and gooner fans will mindlessly eat up. It was a slight slip-up on her part, but it was more than enough to reveal her true character.
