Help me decide on my basement projector setup please.
I’m looking to setup a projector in my soon to be finished basement and have been eyeing the XGIMI Aura 3. The area itself is about 14’ by 11’. The seating area will be about 13’ away. There’s only a small window like 20’ away that will be covered by a blind so lights should be manageable. The pictures show a 100” and 120” screen layout on the wall and the unfinished room itself.
I need suggestions on whether it makes sense to go with a UST versus a standard throw, 100” vs 120” screen, any other suggestions. I’d love to stay below a CAD $3000 budget ideally, projector and screen. The Aura 3 Pro is still like CAD$3000 and Nothing Projector screen on Amazon is on sale right now.
Besides the obvious fact that a 120” is more immersive and bigger than 100”, I’m leaning towards the 100” screen. Thoughts are much appreciated.
Also note that I didn’t originally plan on a projector, which is why I have electrical and conduits roughed into the wall.
