Hi! I'm new to this sub so i'm sorry if this was already discussed. My tactics knowledge comes mostly from Football Manager.

I understood that Brazil was playing in a very low and compact block in order to try to neutralize Haaland.

What i need help to understand is why the team didnt pressure the ball at all even when it was close to the box, even Congo pressured England higher on the pitch.
