Balsam poplar help!!
We have a balsam poplar real close to our house and it is sending out shoots like crazy. Some are coming up under our deck and right by the foundation. Any tips on how to manage this sucker.

Old door with lead paint as pantry door
I have an old door that has lead paint on one side. I was hoping to take the paint off as it’s quite chipped and then stain it. The side that was painted would be the inside of our pantry door. We do have a lot of young kids so I’m curious is there is any concerns to this/ it being refinished and used as a pantry door where food is.
