I'm starting on a 9' jig stick and am planning using either cork tape or this cord for the grips. For those of you that have done cord grips, are you applying epoxy to the blank before wrapping the cord on? Any advice is appreciated.

I have to do some structural repairs that requires access to the stringers, so I need to remove this deck. What are the best tools/blades to do that!? I have a jigsaw, angle grinder, Sawzall etc. I did cut some fiberglass with my jigsaw (with non-carbide blades), in the past but I burned up a few blades doing it.
