Silence and Disrespect towards Scorsese
I'm working through Scorsese's filmography at the moment and recently got to Silence. I have this odd desire to have all of his movies on physical media due to the fact that he shoots mostly on film, so obviously I was seeking out a disc for Silence. As it turns out, there just isn't one - in stock, at least. I can import it from the UK, but it won't work with my player. Beyond the available European copy, every Silence Blu-ray is out of stock everywhere with no restock and no 4k in sight. Why does this happen? Moreso a rhetorical question than anything, but it frustrates me that one of the greatest living filmmakers is treated this way.
