I am from the USA, and when talking about our indigenous population we normally say ‘Native Americans’ or ‘Indigenous Americans’ and I had never heard the term ‘Aboriginal’ until I learned about Indigenous Australians. I follow quite a few Aboriginal creators and I know some Aboriginal people too, but regardless, i’ve heard it pronounced in different ways. I’ve heard it pronounced by emphasizing the ‘OR’ and I’ve heard it by pretty much ignoring the ‘O’ and saying it like “Abriginal”. so I was wondering if there’s a specific way that I should pronounce the word or if I should say something else entirely.

I listened to this song in like 2023-ish i don’t remember any of the lyrics, and only remember the album cover. the cover was like a light green swirl thing. i remember the song was like kinda edgy. I have been listening to the artist, BARKAA recently and i’ve been listening to her song, “Blak Matriarchy” and at the end of the song there is a voice clip saying “You know, I have a culture. I am a cultured person. Don’t try to suppress me. And don’t call me a problem. I have never left my country. I am not the problem.” and i was wondering if any of you knew who that was at the end saying that and where it’s from, or if its just exclusive to Blak Matriarchy
