Homesteader q's anybody else hate lawns because they don't feed livestock?

I also hate lawns for the commonly cited reason that they require too many chemical inputs (and if not directly herbicide, fertilizer, etc. then gasoline to mow the fckin things) and poison/starve the pollinators and birds. And require too much water.

But does anybody else hate them because they could feed all sorts of animals but the owners don't want to have to deal with the unsightly aftermath of animals? I'm a homesteader and I have chickens, sheep, and horses. I also mow lawns for income on the side. I go crazy. I literally get so bitter every time I have to mow someone's FIELD lawn that could be feeding animals (I'm talking HUGE here). Especially in our culture where we buy meat from South America and those fckin summer people who spend $55/hr paying me to mow their lawns aren't supporting local agriculture (I know bc I also clean and I see in their fridges).

AND those fckers are buying up beautiful rich farmland just for the views and making it impossible for people that actually want to farm to buy the land. UGGGH.

I just had to rant here in the hopes that somebody else understands my pain.
