I’ve always been fascinated by intense aesthetic juxtapositions—taking an iconic, pristine luxury silhouette and placing it in a completely unexpected, harsh natural environment.Shot this test frame on a recent drive up north to see how a polished patent leather surface handles intense midday sun reflection compared to the surrounding earth textures and stones. Dialed down the exposure and highlights in post-production to let that signature red sole really anchor the frame. Hope the shoe enthusiasts here appreciate the experiment!

G'day everyone. I'm a mining tradie living up in the Pilbaran minesite, but I love creative photography on the side. I wanted to try something a bit different for an exhibition entry, so I staged a pair of luxury Christian Louboutin out in our elements up here.The goal was to match the sharp, polished lines of the classic red bottoms against heavily weathered, rusted iron heritage mechanisms and the old stone walls over at Cossack.

Stoked to walk away with the "Diamond in the Rough" win last week! Included the judge's critique card at the end because I thought their perspective on the outback juxtaposition was really cool.Let me know what you guys think of the contrast against the red dirt landscape! 🏜️🛠️
