Has anyone received an invitation to apply to the Jasper building in LIC yet? I believe it has been close to a month since the building was listed on MGNY’s page so am curious to know if anyone has gotten lucky!
I literally feel like an absolute idiot, but essentially a recruiter reached out to me regarding a phone screen last Tuesday at 2am (I believe they are based on the west coast) and I didn't see the email until Friday around noon. I immediately responded, apologized for the delay, and expressed my continued interest in the position followed by time slots that still fell within the following week.
I'm usually an addict when it comes to checking my email so I genuinely cannot fathom that I missed such an important one. It completely caught me off guard as it has been months since I applied to this role and have since started a new job, but was always holding out hope for this one in the back of my mind. Guess it goes to show that you should never put your guard down on emails....
Am I absolutely out of the running at this point or is there a small chance that they are still catching up on emails after the long weekend? My anxiety is telling me to send a follow-up tomorrow morning but I don't know if that would come across as desperation or genuine enthusiasm.
