Catholic Wedding Rites
Hi! B2B here and planning to get married Q4 of 2027 or Q1 of 2028 latest. I've been debating whether to go for a civil wedding (i'm an introvert and i just really want a simple wedding) or a traditional church wedding (considering this because of my parents), until I saw the concept of Wedding Rites - wherein it's more intimate and cheaper. This sounds like the great middle ground of what i want (simple and straightforward) and what my parents would want (church wedding, blessed by a priest).
I've been researching about it but i'm seeing limited details. Last info I saw was around 2025 - just curious is there someone out there doing this in 2026 and beyond? Is it still being offered by catholic churches? I'd love to talk to someone who went with this route 🙏🏻 Tysm! 🤍
