[Discussion] Can we have a software/hardware discussion?
I've finally taken the plung to make my own mashups after being in here for a couple years and being fascinated by mashups for as long as I can remember. I've combed through a decent amount of threads and done other various research, but I was hoping to get a new thread going for 2026 sharing what everyone is using to create everything.
Just to get my feet wet I borrowed a friend's controller, Hercules Inpulse 500, and used Serato Pro with Stems, Pitch N' Key, and Soundcloud Go+. No complaints other than my Soundcloud library is no one near as vast as Spotify and I can't use Stems with Spotify.
Gave the controller back, got a FLX4, just tried out Rekordbox last night, and now I'm here before I go any further.
Finding songs that work together and finally getting it just right and adding your own touch is the most satisfying thing I've done in a long time.
