I recently bought a loose diamond for my engagement ring and want to get the setting made and mounted locally since the site I purchased it doesn’t have anything I want. However I moved to a rural area and don’t really have many options on jewelers outside of the big names (which are already like an hour away plus) like Jared, Kays, etc. Has anyone had any experience with bringing a lab grown diamond and getting it made into a ring? I know it will be expensive but will there be issues with bringing your own diamond especially for lab grown? I’m worried they won’t want to make a setting for a diamond that isn’t theirs.
