Ok… trying to crack the code on these things. I just put this infusion site on my upper thigh for the 1st time to try it out and was hoping to place it so when I connected the tubing end to the post the tube would be straight up, but alas, I fucked it up. I assumed the indentations were indicative of the “holes” in the post that the end clamps around. Anyone mastered this yet, or cared enough to figure it out 🤣.
Who here has tried to put their Cleo Infusion on their upper thigh? Seems like it could work well. I’ve lost like 165 pounds so I have a good amount of loose skin in my abdomen area which seems to be causing some issues with “blocked line” error but the upper thigh for me does mot have the loose skin.

Im on the 2.4 shot, have been for almost a month now (saturday will be my 4th jab), down around 15 pounds since starting this dose. Anyone else experience a change in your taste preferences? There are things now that even a month ago that just dont taste the same. They dont taste bad, per se but I dont enjoy them like i used to, even in smaller amounts. Nothing is making me nauseated or anything like that would "prevent me from eating it again, but there are a fair few things that i went from really enjoying, even in small amounts (having had RNY done) to being "this does nothing for me anymore..."
What would be the best way for me to try and calculate what my collection could be worth? I have (what i think...) is a lot of the Harry Potter pop collection.
When my wife and I were actively collecting, we were only missing basically the San Diego Comic Con exclusive pops because we can never get out there and then they end up on resell sites for 4 times the cost and such, but life happened and we stopped searching and buying, and now we could use the cash for other more important things...
I know they have released a few sets since we stopped searching, but if i had to guess, we probably have 90ish% of what has been released maybe...
I would ultimately like to sell the whole collection to someone looking, in the not so distant future but have no idea what the collection that I have, would be worth. Not really looking to piece out a pop here or there if i can avoid it.
Im sure it will be a tedious fiddly process to get this part squared away but for me to get a fair price, i need to know what it's worth as of now.

Ok, so i took my 1st 2.4mg dose Wegovy Jab this past Saturday and just this morning weighed myself for the 1st time since taking it. I weighed the morning i took it to have a baseline number.
I have lost almost 9 pounds in 4 days.
Being an RNY patient, hydration was ingrained into me so i for sure am keeping up with that, always and forever and im sure that this rate of weight loss will most certainly not last, but this has to be basically all water weight right?
If so, thats wild that i was holding onto that much water weight.
Shot #2 comes up in 3 days, but ill be on vacation in Washington DC for the UFC fight, so i wont have access to a scale until next Tuesday to check again. itll be interesting to see where im at this time next week.
So I started on the Wegovy Pill and worked my way up month by month to the 9mg pill, it was time for me to make the final jump to the 25mg pill but i got real tired of waking up early to take the pill on an empty stomach blah blah all those rules. Just got annoying.
So i had my doc right me up the script for the 2.4mg pen instead and man, what a difference that has made. I took my 1st jab on Saturday morning when i got up and if i had not made myself eat food, i would still probably at this point right now, not have eaten anything.
I have no nausea, no stomach paid, no real "negative" side effects, its just like my stomach was turned off. No hunger cues, to stomach growling, nothing. Its just like a constant satiated feeling, no desire to eat at all.
Its really a wild sensation. and to top it all off, I had RNY Gastric Bypass about 2.5 years ago and have lost a bunch of weight, i really only have about 10-15 pounds that i could lose but im not overweight at all, even at my current weight, im still considered a healthy bmi. But my stomach is now like 85% smaller so i was eating drastically less than pre RNY but now im eating even more less because im essentially forcing myself to eat and it takes just a very small amount before i just can eat anymore because it makes me feel like ive overstuffed myself. I still get my protein goal in everyday so im not worried about that at all, its just different. I didnt honestly start this Wegovy journey to lose more weight, i did it for the blood sugar assistance it has.
With me being a T1, i dont qualify for the Mounjaro or Zepbound because they are tied to being T2 and so if a T1 tries to get them, insurance automatically flags and denies it (for me anyway). So this is really my only option because it technically has no diabetes association. like the others do.

Ok can someone explain to me how the insulin math works based on Taco vs Pizza.... If i put in for 95g of carb with the taco icon, based on my ratio, it wants to give me 10.69 units, but if i change it to the pizza icon, its only 6.81 units. glucose levels are 105 and steady. Why is my Insulin amount basically cut in half on the pizza icon? The carb amount didnt change so why should the insulin amount go WAY down like that. It makes me think that i would end up sky high doing the pizza icon...
