Meet KitKat
In January 2025 I found her and her siblings tied inside a plastic bag and dumped next to a dumpster. They were tiny and in terrible condition. She had a severe eye infection and eventually lost one of her eyes, but she fought through it like a champion. My favorite thing about her is the heart-shaped marking on her side. It feels like a little reminder of how far she's come.
