Seeing the movie has converted me to a fan of the series. I started with watching the original show and the current comics, and I'm really getting into it.

Friends I ask for some help, I want to start collecting but don't know where to start.

The origins collection looks cool for its retro play toy mechanics, but the toy line goes back a few years and I'm thinking it might be hard finding a lot of pieces.

Then there's the cartoon collection that's relatively newish, and easier to collect.

Or maybe there's a new line up that I'm not aware of that I could start with .

So yeah, any advice for a new collector would be nice.
