Should I recommend my mother's cat be neutered? Moral dilemma.

I have a Dilemma on whether my mother's cat should be neutered, now first off, yes it's my mother's cat (in terms of she looks after him) but she's basically said she doesn't care whether or not he's nutured and is leaving the choice up to me. I'm in two minds.

On one hand, I wouldn't want it done to me and it violates their bodily autonomy and right to reproduce.

One the other hand, cats cannot be fully healthy on a vegan diet to my knowledge from the research I've done, even though I really wish they could (although I bought him some vegan cat food but it's auxiliary and not his main food source so my mother still feeds his meat) because of this, owning a cat requires feeding them meat and feeding them meat requires financially supporting an industry of animal abuse. If the cat has kids, the support for this industry multiplies

Basically, I have him nutured = violate bodily autonomy but won't result in kittens in the future who will need to be fed meat. Or, I do not have him nutured = retained respect for bodily autonomy but may potentially have kittens in the future who will need to be fed meat.

Also, he was a rescue. He was not purchased.
