Enfield update
About a week ago I posted about a worrisome markings on an enfield i bought on a whim, and im back to update with some good news!
The ftr it went through replaced some bands, the trigger system, and a whole new barrel in fazarkely 1952. The receicer is in great condition with matching bolt. The barrel is extremely clean when the seller said it was pitted. Everything on it under the wood was in perfect condition with the main stock matching as well as the front handguards (rear handguard does not match). i got a matching canadian sling and bayonet for it. Buttstock is a 11/50 replacement from B W(?) S (middle letter is hard to see). Was inspected by me and a place I've trusted with everything else and everything was tiptop shape for shooting!
