HI,

I am coming from Ottawa and headed to Nunavut via Yellowknife. My flight lands 12:30 AM and my next flight departs at 8:00 AM.

Considering the short time, would it be possible for me to spend the night at the airport? I know the airport closes at 1:00 and reopens at 4:00 - I was thinking of heading to a bar (the one open latest says 2:30 AM). Could I get into the airport after the bar closes or is there somewhere walking distance I can be and then head to the airport at 4 when it opens?

Or do I must get accommodation?

Ate at Bawarchi in Fallowfield few weeks ago and learnt from some friends that the owner keeps the tips.

Apparently it's common practice at some Indian restaurants in the city. If you can, check with your server and then tip. They get to keep cash tips, just not the ones by card.
