Hi all! I’m kind of new to longboarding. I recently got back into skateboarding after many years away. While I still enjoy trying tricks on my regular skateboard and I wanted something I could just cruise around on.
I found an Omen Patriot and a Sector 9 longboard (not pictured) on OfferUp and the seller let both of them go for $25 total. I couldn’t pass that up.
I’ve cleaned up the Omen and upgraded it with Atlas 180mm trucks, 1/4” risers and the original Sector 9 69mm Top Shelf Slalom wheels. It rides great now and has become my main cruiser.

Trying to learn how to do a boneless. I can’t seem to get enough pop and I’m struggling to really get up in the air.
What am I doing wrong? Any tips, tricks, or drills to help get more height would be awesome.
