Here's a video recorded today from the top deck of the S6 bus, showing the new safety improvents to the A420 Southmoor staggered junction.
The junction now has a new layout, with the previous two lanes now reduced to one, giving traffic much more space to safely turn.
The speed limit has also been reduced to 50mph from the previous 70mph when this stretch of the road was a dual carriageway.

Walking from Oxford Railway Station to the Osney Island bus stops, the footage shows an 'over the fence' view of the works, with just over a month to go before the planned re-opening of Botley Road, which has been closed since April 2023.

This video shows the road being waterproofed and construction of a large attenuation tank, that will contain a pump to take flood water from the road. The flood water will then be filtered before being pumped into the nearby River Thames.
