I finally got to the episode where sawamura got to be the ace and i am so enraged. The first round where he got to play yura sogo ended up with him being switched out bcs he couldn’t get any strikeouts ? like are we so fucking for real. It feels like every time he gets a good thing in his life then something so shit happens to him. The next game with hachiya suddenly shows how reliable furuya is and even showing that he pitched a 155km/h ball ??? are we so deadass like bro give sawamura the happiness he deserves, he was doing so well during the practice games and suddenly he is hit by all of these bad shit omg im so close to dropping this anime

i’m currently watching ace of diamond act ll (the old one not the recent) and honestly i’m kinda frustrated because i don’t think sawamura is shining at all.

sure he had some good moments but almost all the time furuya overshadows him. this is absolutely like asta getting overshadowed by yuno in the manga black clover or hinata getting outshined by kageyama but at least at the end of it both of them were capable to give me a sense of satisfaction.

i truly love the series but it is such a bummer to have a main character that doesn’t feel like one.

can any of you guys like enlighten me so that i can brave myself to watch the act ll because sawamura is so baby and he deserves the spotlight imo…
