I realized I really don’t need three AI subscriptions running at the same time, so I decided to put ChatGPT Plus on pause.
Funny part: the second I went to cancel, OpenAI popped up with a “please stay” offer and gave me a free month.

Been using ChatGPT the longest out of all the AI tools, but recently I subscribed to both Claude and Gemini, and honestly Claude has felt really refreshing — intuitive, fast, and just gets to work without a ton of friction.

So if you already have Plus and still like ChatGPT, it might be worth trying the cancellation flow before renewing. Worst case, nothing happens. Best case, you save yourself $20 for the month.
