Two sides to the problem

I know resellers are a problem, but honestly, they do it because they will always have people who are going to buy. I just hopped onto a Whatnot where someone selling some PALM pins, I asked for a couple of prices and was honestly astounded, mainly because the pins are still available on PALM's website! Then someone else asks them to run a pin that is currently available for $50 on the site for $75!!! I had to close out. The more I learn about pins and get more into collecting/trading the more I realize that Whatnot is definitely not it, at least for me. I recently started doing some trading in FB groups and let's see how that goes.

Tokyo Disney Paris Pin 😂

I will say, I’ve only recently gotten into collecting and for the most part I buy for my collection I don’t really buy to trade. And while I have found some gems on WhatNot, I just popped into a random stream to see what they had and the seller literally said this is an authentic Tokyo Disney Paris pin and it wasn’t that moment that I was like I need to close out of this.

WhatNot sellers seem to be getting more and more desperate it seems. They all have the same inventory at this point (I’m looking at you Box Lunch) and they are starting to sound a little too desperate. I think buyers have caught on that they don’t need to run up the price on everything, there’s a good chance another seller will have it or you’ll find a better deal on eBay.
